The way we care about our patients makes our pharmacy different. We have the ability to solve the most difficult medicine problems, differentiating us from other pharmacies. We match medications to patients, rather than matching patients to medications...including both human and animal patients. Through patient education and advice, we hope to become your "Problem Solver."

Problem Solving
We compound specialized medications to meet specific patient needs.

  • Unique dosage forms containing the best dose of medicine for each individual
  • Elimination of trouble-causing excipients such as dyes, sugar, lactose or alcohol
  • Combination preparations for easier administration and improved compliance
  • Creative devices for medication administration

Specialized Dosage Forms
Medications can be compounded into dosage forms that are most appropriate to treat each patient.

  • Desired active ingredient(s) can be compounded into creams, ointments and gels for topical or transdermal administration. In order for medications to be absorbed tansdermally , it is critical that an appropriate base and proper compounding technique be used. Medication can be easily measured using an oral-topical dispenser.
  • Convenient applicators can be used to deliver medication directly to an affected site, such as the lips. Compared to oral administration, less active ingredient(s) may be required when a medication is applied topically and the risk of systemic side effects can be minimized.

Lollipops
Lollipops provide an effective means of holding medication in contact with the oral mucosa and are also an appealing dosage form for children.

Suppositories
Suppositories remain one of the most popular dosage forms. Unique designs such as the "rectal rocket" enable simultaneous internal and external medication administration.

Troches
Troches can be placed between the cheek and gum to dissolve. Medication can be absorbed through the mucosa, providing another alternative to oral administration. Flavored gelatin forms can be chewed and swallowed.

An ointment mill provides an elegant homogenized mixture which is cosmetically and therapeutically appealing. Ointment mills reduce medication particle size and therefore can be used to compound higher strength preparations than can be formulated using traditional methods.

Our patented capsule machine is used to efficiently compound capsules containing needed medication(s) in the most appropriate strength for each patient.

Specialized equipment such as this electronic balance enables us to compound medications to the prescriber's exact specifications.
